BENTANO from adeco has won the Red Dot Award 2017. A panel of specialists judged that the door panel manufacturer had "achieved an outstanding feat of design".

Proud to win again

The firm's managing director, Christian Reckendrees, says: "adeco is especially proud of the fact that this is actually the second award to be won by BENTANO, designed by Sabine Bischof. With the Iconic Award 2016 and the Red Dot Design Award 2017, the company's design strategy has achieved worldwide recognition."

Bischof is also extremely happy that her work has received such www.adeco.de accolades. "When producing the BENTANO, it was the first time that we took an in-depth look at the possibilities offered by aluminium as a material," she explains. "During the past few years, adeco had demonstrated how important it was that the handles should form an integral part of the door panels themselves. Thanks to the inset handle recess, the full integration of handle and door panel has been achieved."
