For more than 35 years, the TECNOLUMEN name has stood for lamps with strong character and timeless design. Its focus on originals from the Bauhaus era makes it unique worldwide. Decorative lamps following the same functional design principle round off the programme. The lamps and utensils created in its factory in Bremen, northern Germany, are either instantly collectible, or have the potential to become so in the future. Precise craftsmanship, quality materials, individuality and faithfulness to the original Bauhaus principles make the TECNOLUMEN collection exquisite.
Whether they are historical or contemporary in nature, every single TECNOLUMEN design reflects an aesthetic that is always in demand, regardless of trends. New products are only added once they have met extremely strict requirements; although the portfolio is regularly expanded, the classic designs remain available, particularly the Wagendfeld table lamp.
The lamp inspired businessman and art collector Walter Schnepel - who received the licence to reproduce it from Wilhem Wagenfeld himself - to found TECNOLUMEN in 1980. It is the only company authorised to reproduce the famous lamp, which guarantees that every model bearing its stamp is an original that will be your companion for a long time.
